14 inch 14k Gold Fill Neckwire, Neck Wire, Necklace, Choker 18ga

Description

This lovely neckwire is made from sparkling round 18 gauge 14k Gold Fill tempered wire and has a hook and eye closure. The neckwire is completely hand formed, shaped and ready to wear when you receive it. Further shaping should not be necessary although it can be to fit your personal needs perfectly. After completion it is then lovingly hand polished to a gleaming shine.

Wear it alone or with your favorite gold pendant, the one pictured is not included. A neck wire makes a great addition to your jewelry wardrobe as well as a fantastic gift for someone else.

These neckwires are strong enough to support large pendants without bending or loosing their shape yet are flexible enough for comfort (pendants shown are not included). FYI: Wire thickness is sized in gauges (ga) with the smaller numbers being the larger diameter. For instance, 20ga is thicker than 22ga.

How to measure: Measure around your neck at the soft area just above the collar bone. This usually is the most comfortable size for a Neckwire. If you want it longer, simply add an inch or two onto that measurement.

ABOUT GOLD FILL: Gold Fill wire is made by forming a tube of solid 14kt gold that is "filled" with a base metal, usually brass. The gold exterior is then permanently bonded to the core using a combination of high heat and pressure. The exterior of the product is solid 14kt gold and everything you can see or touch is solid 14kt gold that is 100 times thicker than plated metals. It will never crack, peal, chip or wear off.
