owl love you always x-stitch sampler

oh, what a sweet gift for your sweet.
or for that great couple you know who just got engaged, or married.
or for your mom, or your grandma, or for yourself.

i found these little owls in a sampler done by a pennsylvania dutch woman sometime in the 1800's and i started stitching them and i just couldn't stop. i really like these owls and when i thought of the "owl love you always" saying to go along with them, well, i really cracked myself up.

white stitching on a background of black aida cloth. the finished piece is framed within a 6.25" diameter embroidery hoop. it is ready to be hung on the wall as-is, by a nail through the hoop hardware. or you could string a ribbon from the hoop hardware and hang it that way -- that looks nice, too. also looks great propped on a shelf or a ledge among other collectibles.
