Making & marking the mari is an integral a part of making temari as stitching is, yet it can be difficult to learn what things should be like. Seeing, holding and feeling a prepared mari is often a key to understanding how to make your own. These are offered as a learning help, and for those have physical challenges that make mari prep difficult.

This is a set of three wrapped and marked mari, one each of the Standard Divisions used in traditional Japanese Temari. It allows you to work on stitching while you continue to hone your mari-making skills. You will receive one each of Simple/Vertical 8, one 8 Combination and one 10 Combination. The mari average 2 1/2 to 3 inches in diameter. You will receive a mix of black, white and/or natural unless you request other colors in your order. Ordering the set offers a shipping discount over ordering the individual mari.
