1940's Fur Mouton Peplum Coat, 42-31-45
Description
42-31-45A classic 1940’s silhouette right out of the movies. Chocolate brown mouton fur coat has large ballooned sleeves that taper in at the wrist, a nipped in waist, and a peplum. Lined in a matching rayon or acetate type fabric. There are also two 12” loops of fabric inside the coat, purpose unknown. Closes at the waist with one covered hook-and-eye. Label reads “Ramblin Furs”.
Being that the waist of this coat is meant to be fitted, please allow extra room in your measurements for clothing underneath this coat.
Condition: Excellent. There is a small loop of string that I think held the original tag on the front of the coat. Could easily be cut off if you desired.
