Porcelain Animal Sculpture, Mouse with Cheese, 2 Piece

This is a 2 piece sculpture! - the adorable mouse and his cheese are separate, but can be stacked to look like one. White mice are always cute looking, and this little one is playfully playing with his block of swiss cheese.

I made him entirely by hand, using no molds whatsoever, and glazed him in a soft white satin glaze, except for his nose,hands,ears and tail, which are a soft, velvety pink. The cheese is a light yellow and white satin. Mouse is 2 1/4 x 2 1/2 inches (life size) and cheese is 1 1/2 x 1 1/4 inches. Stacked size is 3 1/2 inches tall.

***Because of the nature of handmade ceramic sculpture, individual characteristics happen. There is a small area next to his right leg, where the white glaze was applied thinner than elsewhere, and as a result, the area where the leg is joined to the body has a tiny area, about 1/4 inch long, that resembles a crack. This is *not* a crack or structural flaw, and would really be invisible to most people, unless you were looking for it.

However, I would rather explain it to you and assure you that although if made with any other glaze you might not notice, this slight marring of the mouse should be explained.

Such is the nature of handmade! You see the slight imperfections that assure you a human made this, not a machine.

As such, I am discounting this sculpture by 15% from the original price of $70. Now only $59.00 **
