Exclusive to Etsy - introducing our new thong style interchangeable sandal!!! As with classic Mohops, our patent-pending system of elastic loops lets you easily create a nearly infinite variety of comfortable, custom-fit sandals with any sort of ribbon or fabric tie.

This sandal is super versatile - with a 2" heel, they can easily be dressed up or down for nearly any occasion. The sandal has a 3/4" platform: they feel similar to a flat or very low heel on your feet, but provide better support (wood is an excellant shock absorber!). The footbed is ergonomically carved with subtle curves gently supporting your arch and cradling your heel and the ball of your foot. These sandals have the comfort and stability of a wedge, with a tapered heel for lightness.

This handmade shoe is composed of solid American walnut and durable black soling of natural rubber and rice husks. The bottom and sides of the shoes are literally sanded to a shine then hand rubbed with marine grade sealer, while we keep the footbed slightly more textured, yet smooth, so the wood is not slippery under your foot.

Each pair of sandals comes with a collection of five sets of ribbons of your choice. The ribbons come in pairs of 66" long ribbons, in widths from 3/8" to 7/8", colors and patterns as shown in the above photo. Please note, occasionally substitutions are made if a ribbon is out of stock. Mohop sandals are packed with an organza travel bag, a ‘how to tie’ booklet, and a re-useable translucent shoe box. Usually ships within one week; we ship via Priority Mail, with transit time of 2-3 days in the US. International shipment will take longer, depending on the customs and other factors. You will recieve a confirmation email with tracking information when your order ships.
