Deep in the Forest Pendant - made with vesuvianite and oxidized sterling silver

Description

A mossy green vesuvianite briolette, wrapped in sterling silver wire and suspended from a very fine 18 inch (46cm) chain. The pendant has been oxidized and then polished by hand, to bring out some silvery highlights.

The vesuvianite is a beautiful, unusual color - a deep, rich yellow green, which goes perfectly with the darkened oxidized silver. Makes me think of being somewhere deep within a forest, with the sunlight shining through the leaves overhead.

Vesuvianite briolette measures 7.5mm x 7mm

All silver used is sterling silver and closure is with a pretty handmade hook and eye clasp. Necklace chain length can be adjusted, just ask!

Please note that while the pendant pictured is not the one you will receive, it has been made in precisely the same manner and is very near to identical.
