Island Dreams - Fused Glass Pendant

Description

A petite replica of the gorgeous Whitsunday Island off the coast of eastern Australia. Inspired by memories of a long sandy beach, and gorgeous clear blue waters: http://www.flickr.com/photos/jcolman/3938350709/

The pendant was created from fused art glass handmade in my ArtLair. After an initial kiln firing, the piece was shaped and re-fired to achieve a beautiful polish as well as strength and durability. The silver plated bail is affixed to the back using a super strong glass compatible epoxy.

Measures ¾ inch long (including the bail) and the glass piece is slightly larger than 1/2 inch in diameter.
