The red balloon
Description
I absolutely loved the french movie from the late 60's "le ballon rouge". This piece was inspired by it.It is 8x10 inches. Encaustic wax is layed over a vintage photo of the eiffel tower. The girl with the red balloon is burnished into the wax painted and burnished again. The edges are finished with french text book pages and it is ready to hang.
