40's SATIN BROCADE Black and Navy Evening Dress

Description

This early 1940's dress is made of an absolutely stunning satin brocade in black and navy. The skirt is somewhat narrow through the hips and it flares towards the hem. There are bust darts in addition to tucks that extend upwards from the waist. The sleeves are gathered at the elbow to follow the bend of your arm. The neckline is a bit more ornate in the back than in the front. It has an almost undersized sweetheart or scalloped shape. The dress has no zipper, buttons, or snaps. Subsequently the bodice is cut fairly full but you will want to leave extra room to get into and out of the dress. It is approximately a size medium, maybe a m/l. It is in absolutely excellent, immaculate conditoin.
