This is a wonderfully designed, hand carved music box by Anri. It is hand carved and hand painted in the style Anri is famous for.A young boy plays his clarinet in the woods surrounded by birds bunnies squirrels-even mushrooms and a whimsical evergreen tree This lid of the music box can be lifted to see the actual music box instrumentation. After researching the history of Anri it appears like pieces are wound by a key which did not come with this lovely woodland piece.
Despite its absence it would provide delightful wonderful woodland decor to any living space. Perhaps the right owner could find a special antique specialist who knows where to find a key to bring back the music and movement to this magnificent piece
