Vintage 40s Blue Satin Evening Purse Rouched Handbag Bag

Description

Divine vintage 40's evening purse made from scrumptious blue satin. It has a beautiful rouched (pleated) front which really adds a touch of glamour!

Gold-tone metal frame with clasp fastener. Single handle. Circular base measuring 2" (5cm) in diameter. Lined in blue satin with one small interior pocket. The pocket holds a dual sided compact mirror which measures 3.5" by 2.15" (8.7cm by 5.8cm). The pocket is embossed with gold lettering showing the letter 'D' with a swallow above it and 'Made in France' below it.

Width across top 5" (12.5cm)
Width at widest part 8.5" (21.5cm)
Height 7.5" (19cm)
Handle drop 6" (15cm)

Condition:

Very good/excellent. There is a faint mark at the top of the handle which is hardly visible and some indentations to the fabric at the back but again nothing noticeable.
