Dark Waves - Glass Focal Art Bead - SRA

Description

The brilliance of silver glass, blue metallic sparkle on a black background. There is nothing like it, this one really sparkles in the sunlight. The focal bead measures 21mm x 42mm (.82" x 1.65")and was wound on a 1/8" mandrel.

Each of my beads is made by me, one by one, in my home studio. Most of my beads are made out high end glass that is handcrafted by artisan glass makers and usually produced in small quantities in unique color sets. I also use many of the well known glass types that have been around for years.
The actual colors of the beads may vary somewhat from what you see on your computer due to different settings on cameras and monitors. Hopefully my description of the bead(s) will help with that! The beads are annealed in a digitally controlled kiln for strength and durability.
