Cerys The Little Witch Art Doll

Description

Cerys the Little Witch has a poly bead filled ball skirt made of velvet and a cute little felt pumpkin friend. She wears the traditional pointy hat of her trade, adorned with ribbons and trim and a lovely orange flower. Her fiery orange wool hair is plaited and tied with polka dot ribbons and she has a little coppery waist-sincher corset. She is around 35cm high and is best propped up as she has a tendancy to roll if you leave her free standing. Her hands are permanently attached to her Pumpkin companion so that they can see out many Halloweens together.

All of my dolls are "One of a Kind", from my own original patterns and take hours to make, using traditional calico fabric and are stuffed with hygienic top quality soft toy filling and/or polybeads. They are made with a machine and finished with hand stitching. The faces (and even some of the fabrics used in the clothing) are hand painted in artists acrylic and Seta-colour fabric paints which have glittery special finishes.

Each doll comes wrapped in cello with it's own adoption certificate and a little story/rhyme about the doll. All my dolls are intended as adult collectables and as many contain wire, and have small parts (bells, beads & buttons!). They are designed for display rather than for play/young children.
