Pyrography and ink wash on Alderwood
For the Alice lover, this is a truly unique and eyecatching piece of art. Measuring approx 13" wide by 25" long on a one inch thick piece of alderwood. This is pretty much a straight pyrography piece, with the color an texture added by the depth and heat of the burning pen. except for Alices dress, hair and the caterpillar which are done in very light washes of yellow and green to really make them pop!. White in highlights have also been added.
This is definitely a one of a kind piece of art, many many hours went into the detail and burning of this one, It is my favorite pyro piece to date, hopefully it will be yours too!
