Lord of the Flies (series of 3)

Description

This is the second in my literary series of triptychs, based on the classic story Lord of the Flies, and includes 3 images. From left to right:
1. Ralph, the boy who represents our better nature (with a dove feather tucked behind his ear).
2. A quote from the book; "We've got to have rules and obey them. After all, we're not savages", including a little conch shell graphic.
3. Jack, the boy who represents our dark nature (donning savage war paint).

This is great as a gift for book lovers, pop-culture lovers, and the accompanying quote can serve as a reminder of the proper way to run your household! This would look really cool in a cottage or beach house. I also had a teacher recently purchase a set for her classroom!

The final digital illustrations come supplied as standard print format PDF files (or as EPS files upon request), which will be emailed to you as soon as possible after payment. Then you can print them out to your heart's desire. If you do not have a printer at home, just head to your local print shop with the files on hand...most print shops even allow you to email the files to them. I find they look great even just printed on regular paper using a decent laser printer (my $60 printer handled them fine). Other benefits of sending files electronically are:
1. No shipping charges and hassles
2. You can use the image/images in any handmade invitation or other personalized project...it has limitless possiblilities.
3. No packaging means less waste.
4. You can print one for yourself or more to give away as gifts!

Want a specific colour? Just let me know, and I will create them in your desired shade. Otherwise it will be basic black on white. I can also create custom portraits in this theme (a custom couple portrait in this theme would be really cool), so let me know if you would like that, and I can arrange a price for you.

In the message to seller upon purchase, let me know if you want 8x10, 8.5x11, 11x14 or any other size.

This listing includes all three illustrations. Please note that frames are not included (the first pictures are to illustrate how they might look). The watermarked images are there to protect my work from being illegally copied, and your files will not be blurry or watermarked!
