Hand Carved Halloween Jack O' Lantern

Description

I hand carved this grinning Jack O'Lantern in relief (flat) from a Cypress Knee tip.
I hand carved all details from his stem to the grooves between his teeth.
After carving, I then hand painted him with acrylic paint and then antiqued and sealed him.
He measures approximately 3 1/2" high x 2 3/4" wide or 9cm x7 1/2cm.
Designed, created, signed and dated by me.

*Cypress knees are part of the root system of the Cypress tree that grow up from the ground or water. They are found in the swamps of the south. Thanks to nature, each cypress knee is unique and no two will be the same.
The Cypress trees trees aren't harmed in the harvesting process.
