Softcover notebook with handmade paper

Description

This notebook is made of some of my recycled handmade paper. The paper turned out rather interesting with its variation in appearance, wrinkles, and tears. Some of the paper is thin and some average weight. There is a deckle edge on all four edges. The paper in this notebook could easily turn into an interesting art journal or remove the paper to use in another art journal. I would love to see what you come up with!

The notebook measures about 5.25" x 8.25". The handmade paper measures about 8" x 10", folded in half and sewn into a cover. There are about 20 pages (10 pages folded in half) in the notebook. The cover is a textured card stock. I have tested a standard ink pen and pencil, but other media will need to be tested. I am including an extra loose sheet that show these tests. The notebook comes with a bookmark featuring a scrap of handmade paper.
