Description
This top-whorl spindle is a beautiful and unique way to make your own yarn. I make each spindle by hand and test each one for balance and spinability.The whorl is about 50mm across and made of Green Aventurine. It's a beautiful warm semi-opaque green color. It weighs 1 oz and is 10 inches long. The shaft is made out of sustainably harvested mangowood and had carved details at the top. The hook is brass plated and is sturdy enough so that it will not misshape if (or when) you drop it.
Folklore that surrounds Green Aventurine says that it is a good luck charm. It's a great stone for good adventures while traveling. It helps bring in good fortune, money, abundance and happiness.
