Witch's Brew Halloween Altar in a Jar

This was a new thing for me...It just sort of came to me...In the aisle at Michael's...But it seemed like an interesting idea and I ran with it. These are items that I would use on my Halloween altar at home too.

The idea behind the "Altar in a Jar" is to be inconspicuous in case you’re not out of the “Broom Closet” or if you are, and you’re a cube-rat, it will remind you of your faith. Besides, it’s pretty and smells nice too, even if you don’t light the incense or the candle.

Included in my "Altar in a Jar" are some Copper coloured Glass disks a Black Candle, some suitable "Witchy" looking decorations, and a Votive Candle.
The Votive Candle in this one is "Bat's Breath" AKA Licorice and I would highly recommend if you're going to burn it to place it in a suitable burner.
The Jar itself is a used and cleaned Jelly Jar. It's 6 Inches tall and 11 and a half inches around.
The decorations are actually scrapbooking stickers by Jolee's.

Halloween is a wonderfully magickal time of year for those of the Earth based religions. The veil between the our world and that beyond is thinner now, which is one of the reasons that we dress up as scary things...
