1950's NINA RICCI Navy Pleated Dress

Description

This 1950's Nina Ricci dress exhibits stunning tailoring and simple, sophisticated style. The bodice has a scoop neck and short sleeves. White contrast stitching accents these areas. The skirt is VERY heavily pleated. I believe it is meant to hang straight as shown but the circumference of the skirt is very nearly equivalent to a full circle. The dress has a metal back zipper and snaps (below the waist). The bodice is fully lined with black silk. The material is a very heavy, woven fabric in dark navy blue (the color is well represented in all photos except the gallery photo). It almost feels like a wool blend, maybe mixed with rayon or cotton (not at all itchy). This dress is in absolutely excellent, immaculate condition. It has no flaws, no wear from age, not even a single stressed seam. It is approximately a size small or xs.
