Richard Original, Ladies Vintage Brown Wool Beret, 1940s
Description
Sometimes referred to as a "tilty hat", the details on this 1940's ladies beret are what make it extra special. The mocha brown wool felt has been stamped with a striking whorled pattern that radiates from the crown of the hat. Beaded and wire bullion flowers, surrounded by felt leaves and a bit of tan grosgrain ribbon embellish the left side of the hat. The inside rim is finished with a pretty metallic trim, and there is an elastic strap for windy days.The tag reads "Richard Original". The inside measurement at hatband is 19.5". This hat is worn lightly atop your head, tilted slightly to one side. Just adorable!
This beautiful vintage hat is in excellent condition. It's very clean with no unattractive odor.
