Most of the fleece scarves are 58 to 60 inches in length by varying widths, from 8 inches to 12., and fringed at both ends. I take into account the fabric patterning and cut accordingly. My fleece scarves are cut very cleanly with special tools which I have invested in extensively and carefully. They are the kind that have to be fed. Most tools do. I do not use a serger, that is the forte of others, but prefer to strip cut the fleece. This requires actual and physical time per scarf. GREAT exercise, too. No, I'm not kidding. A quick note at this point: care MUST be taken when using the rotary cutter. WATCH your fingers. Had to put that in.
