2 oz Hand Painted BFL Roving ROYAL TEA

Description

I hand-dyed this small braid of Blue Face Leicester (also known as MY FAVORITE FIBER EVER) with professional quality acid dyes that resist fading. Ah, purple, the color or royalty. I used various shades of grapes, plums and eggplants. And now I'm hungry. Fruit and tea, how perfect....I think I'll call this Royal Tea since I am feeling especially punny.

This is a 2 oz bump, and I have 2 of them available in this dyelot. BFL is ideal for beginners and advanced spinners alike...it is silky soft and has a wonderfully long staple. I could probably go the rest of my life happy as a clam spinning nothing but BFL. Alas, I refuse to be narrow minded, so I at least give other breeds a shot.
