My grandmother used these as long as I can remember her standing in her kitchen. She was a wonderful cook; she owned and ran a boarding house in Winston-Salem, NC for medical students just outside Baptist Hospital, now known as Bowman Gray medical center. A parking deck now stands where her great big house once stood. Her kitchen always smelled of wonderful things and she always used these cotton dish cloths. I can still remember how soft they got after they had been used a few times, then thrown in the washing machine. You will love these - I use them myself and I'm a pretty good cook, too.
