Brocade Corset (ready to wear)

Description

This corset comes AS IS. This is a oop item so it's heavily discounted and there are some flaws in it.
It was made for me to wear but came out a smidge too big in the chest.
It will fit someone with these measurements, please take accurate measurements as it will not fit a smaller bust:

Bust: 36"-39"
Waist*: 28"-31
Hips: 36" -39"

It is made from black polyester brocade satin with silver chrysanthemums all over and lined with black cotton duck cloth (canvas). It has 14 pieces of spiral steel boning with 30 silver metal grommets hand set down the back. The corset will come with black cotton lacing, not the brown (I am waiting for the black lacing to dry as I dye to match). The busk is made coated spring steel. The top and bottom are bound with black satin bias tape.

You will get some reduction it is not made for serious tightlacing. I would not lace tighter than a 1.5" reduction, 2" tops.

Dry clean only as the boning is steel.

*The woman's natural waist is approx. 2" above the belly button and usually the thinnest part of the torso)

It is based on a simplicity pattern with some tweaks here and there.
