Beautiful Vintage Advance 2-Piece Dress pattern, Size 12

Description

What a darling dress this is, with its fitted jacket/bodice and softly pleated full skirt! I love the sheer femininity of it, and the fact that you can pair the skirt with something else. And can't you just imagine going swing dancing in this?! Fabulous, simply fabulous.

I hesitate to say "Size 12" because the 12 of then is not the 12 of today. Oddly, there is no bust measurement given, but the waist is stated as 25" and the hips as 33", which translates to a Size 5 today. That said, I know that I always bought a size smaller than I actually wore, because they seemed to run rather large. (Not in the 50's. I was just a kid then, but it was true for a long, long time.)

The envelope is a little ripped around the top, and this pattern has been used, but it appears to be all there, including the instruction sheet.
