Hand Quilted Sakizome Yoyo Purse
Description
Another purse, but this time I used my favorite Japanese yarn dyed "sakizome" fabrics for the background and again Japanese "konuno" old kimono fabrics for the yoyo embellishments.I have still lots of konuno yoyos at hand and I'm thinking about using them like this. Actually I made them for another project but gave up the project half way.
You can use it for storing your make-up items or whatever you want.
The purse measures 6.5" (16 cm) L x 4.5" (12 cm) H x 1 3/4" (4 cm) W.
As usual, I used pre-washed cotton fabric for the outside body. Again, I hand-pieced the hexagons and then hand quilted it.
This purse is created in the smoke/pet-free hobby room of my home.
