Don’t you ever just need a hug? Kids with sensory needs often do and this lap pad could help. Light weighting to add just a little input to the thighs and legs so circle time, desk time, or homework time is a little easier. This pad could also be worn on the shoulders, back, or head. This lap pad is weighted with poly beads so it is washable. Each of Therapeutic Thread’s lap pads and blankets are reinforced. The beads are in individual channels in a durable cotton liner and then sewn into place in the outer covering. This channel design assures even weight distribution for maximum therapeutic benefits. The main channels are then reinforced to keep the interior bag from slipping.

This listing is for a bag 10 1/2” x 19” covered in dark brown chocolate fleece fabric and weighs over 2 1/2 lbs. A great neutral color to use at school.

Machine washable in cold to warm temperatures and hang to dry.

*Please note that while these pads are double layered and durable, we do recommend adult supervision when being handled by children. Pads should be checked regularly for any leaks, especially if they are washed or dragged frequently.

Weighted lap pads can have a calming effect to people with Autism, ADHD, Restless Leg Syndrome, Sensory Integration Disorder and other issues.
