Scribble Winter Dress. US sz 8 (AU sz 12)

Description

The Penelope Red Scribble Winter Dress is an elegant, sophisticated design, that you could easily wear to the office, and then wear out at night afterwards.

Wear it with your favourite black heels, some simple jewellery, and a great black leather bag.

It is made from two cotton/elastane fabrics. The elastane content means that it hardly creases, and makes it very comfortable to wear. The cotton means that it is very durable and soft to touch.

I always love a bit of contrast! I decided to highlight the waist, making it black, and even though the scribbled stripes are going across your hips, your eyes travel more up to the contrasting black shoulders, which balances out the hips.

The square neckline is a tribute to old Hollywood movies, and the costumes there in.

This dress has been fully lined with a polyester lining. There is an invisible zip at the centre back. There are small pleats around the hips, to make this design a fairly loose fit (at the hips).
