Baroness Pontalba, a strong wiled and vivacious heiress,refused to succumb to the pressures of french society and suffer a tortuous marriage and life in the french countryside. She was shot by her father in law (4 times), but lived, moved to New Orleans for Sanctuary and created the Pontalba Apartments, one of the enduring architectural fancies of Jackson Square. A True Southern Gothic heroine before her time.

These sweet simple and rustic bloomer/pantaloons are modeled after my own antique pair(s). I decided to forgo the drawstring and put elastic in the waist. Fashioned from 100% softest linen, made in the U.S.A. and sewn with care in the city that care forgot.

Sample Size has a 15 inch inseam and 26 inches from waist to hem. These are custom made to your size. Pants can be made in up to a 25 inch inseam. Please include
