Description

This beautifully natural ornament features a hand-carved sunburst design on one of my own organically grown gourds.

The carving is done the old-fashioned way with wood carving tools. The process is slow and precise and the design intricate. The shell has been lightly dyed to make the carved pattern stand out. This one is finished with a clear gloss finish, so the light natural markings of the gourd shell show through. The hanger is gold thread. Signed tiny on bottom.

If you desire, I'm happy to add the year, a name or word (up to 4 letters)in gold or black ink in the middle of the carving. Please specify when ordering. Add this one-of-a-kind piece to your own tree, or give as a gift to someone who loves natural beauty.
