Custom Baby Afghan - Crocheted Blanket

This is a CUSTOM listing -- the afghan pictured is not for sale, though a similar one can be made if ordered. For clarification, the photo shows only one corner of the afghan. The entire afghan was approximately 36" square, plus the 3" picot edging. It was also made with a very soft boucle baby yarn -- very snuggly!

I LOVE to make baby afghans, but much prefer to make them for specific babies rather than just make a random lot of afghans. So, I am listing this option for you to custom design your own baby afghan!

Here's how it works.....

The body of the afghan will be a granny square, and the edging can be anything from a simple single band to an elaborate picot edging as the one shown in the photo.

You get to choose the colors -- one for the body (granny square) and one for the edging. Yes, these can be the same if you'd like. You may choose solid colors or variegated colors, and you can choose to have the entire afghan made with the same yarn (ie: the example afghan in the photo was made entirely with a variegate yarn).

You get to choose the size -- most of my afghans tend to be around 36" square, but if you'd like something larger or smaller, please let me know.

Lastly, I will do my best to find yarns that fit your color requests that are both soft & snuggly AND machine wash/dry. I will NOT make a baby afghan with yarns that need to be hand washed/lay flat to dry unless specifically requested to do so (I do not find this a practical option for baby afghans).

When I receive your color choices, I will work to find yarns that best match your choices and will send you scans of the yarns for your approval. Once all the choices have been made and approved, it takes me about 1 week to make your afghan. I will again send a scan of the corner of the afghan (similar to the photo in this listing) for your approval. Once approved, afghan will be shipped.
