Wall Sculpture - Toasted Honeycomb - Porcelain and Fused Glass - 15x15cm

Something I have been meaning to do for ages.....ceramic wall art!

The porcelain piece is highly textured with a matrix of small craters. The body of the piece has been glazed with a sandy stonewear glaze and the honeycomb has been filled with a base of auto windscreen glass. In a separate firing small glass beads have been fused to the glass below to give a wonderful, light catching honey effect.
The piece is displayed on a stretched white cotton canvas.

The porcelain piece measures 3 1/4 inches/ 8.2cm across and the canvas measures 6inches/ 15cm square with a depth of 1 1/2 inches/ 4cm

Currently there is no wire on the back for hanging, but I will add a picture hanging wire across from left to right for immediate hanging. If you would prefer to use your own hanging method, please let me know, and I won't add the wire.
