Tiered Patchwork Twirler ePATTERN for child in PDF

This PDF pattern contains all you need - instructions and pattern pieces - to make a Tiered Patchwork Twirler dress. This is, hands down, my daughter’s absolute favorite dress to wear, dance, and twirl in. The tiered twirl dress is relaxed and loose fitting, forming a circle when laid down flat.

This dress grows with your child! Ties at the shoulders allow the dress to be adjusted lengthwise and the loose fit at the chest accommodates a growing child over several summers.

I have been asked several times to make available my own bodice pieces I use to make my patchwork twirlers. Here they are! This ePattern is a fully illustrated 14 page ebook, including two hand drawn multi-size pattern pieces that will be sent to your email inbox within 24 hours of purchase. Pattern pieces are to be printed out on a 1:1 scale on a regular printer. No need to resize or tape together pages. This ePattern is neat and complete.

The Tiered Patchwork Twirler uses between 1 and 2 yards of fabric, though the dress can be made entirely from scraps from other projects. This is also a great project for reconstructing or recycling other garments and soft furnishings.

There is no zippers or buttons. A good pattern for a beginning sewer (though, admittedly, time consuming).

This pattern contains multiple sizes:
for children US sizes 2 – 7
or chest measurements 20” to 26”.
