Each Folk Art Doll is approximately 17 1/2 inches tall. You can have her sit or hang her on the wall. They are hand sculpted with Air Dry Clay which is formed over a cloth a body. I have hand paint them using Golden Acrylic Paint. Their faces are hand painted with acrylics and watercolored pencils. These Folk Art Dolls have been aged and sanded to give them a distressed look. Their skirts are machine sewn and added embellishments are hand sewn. Also, their skirts have been stained with coffee, tea and walnut stain. Each Folk Art Doll has been sprayed with a Matte Varnish for protection. Some of these dolls have also been crackled to give them a more distressed look. (The ones with hats have been crackled). Also, this particular Witches torso has been collaged with various halloween papers and ribbion and wool attached to her waist. She will come signed and dated. These Folk Art Dolls are one of kind and will not be reproduced.
These Folk Art Dolls were inspired by my workshop with Cloth & Clay by Gritty Jane.
