Deco CZECH Necklace MOCHA Glass MARCASITE

Description

Signed Czech Art Deco necklace featuring swirled mocha glass and sparkling marcasite..Superb, long, and sultry. Tear drop shaped swirled brown glass beads end with a brass bead forming a long chain that drops to an exquisite dangling pendant. The pendant has double curved ornate elements studded with bands of marcasite with half circles of mocha satin glass with rounded tips in glass. Dangling below the pendant is a large satin glass stone with glass beads and ribbed top. Even the back of the pendant bears an ornate filigree setting of flowers and leaves. Signed on the ring closure Czechoslov, the piece is a fabulous flapper Art Deco necklace.

The necklace measures 24" with the bale and pendant adding an additional 3". Very good condition with no chips or nicks to the glass and all the marcasite present. Marvelous workmanship synonymous with the Czech craftsman! Circa 1920
