The Windsor - ruffle necklace with rope

A unique and eyecatching necklace - perhaps an easy and practical way to work a sort of ruff into your wardrobe? My current favourite thing is the ruff!

This one is sweet and simple, consisting of a navy blue poplin fabric, and some twisty nautical-stylee rope. 'A match made in heaven!' I hear you say.

It fastens with an oversized lobster clasp, which is attached with small leather pieces, glued and stitched for security (but it is rather delicate overall, so you must be nice to it!). There is a mixture of machine and hand stitching going on here.

You could keep it soft and feminine, or wear it with harder, more boyish things and create a nice contrast. Livens up a plain old top a treat!
