Underwater

Description

This large piece of stone has been etched on the front with the image of a fish underwater, and on the back is etched some chinese writing. I think the stone is jadeite. It's a beautiful shade of light jade green with red lines and mottled red spots here and there.

I have attatched a red coral branch on one side of the pendant. Hanging a bit below the coral branch is a jade bead in a darker jade green dangling from a braid of waxed black cotton cord. I used another jade bead for the bail of the pendant.

The asymmetrical pendant hangs on a simple black necklace macramed with the same waxed black cotton cord. On one side of the necklace are two pale jade beads, just because.

The necklace is adjustable from 15.5 inches up to 18 inches and fastens with a macramed loop on one end of the piece which will slide over any one of 5 black onyx beads on the other end of the necklace.

Pendant is 3 inches long and 1.25 inches wide at it's widest point.
