A tumble of glass beads in dreamy lavender-pink shades combines with a hand-crafted polymer clay butterfly, also in shades of lavender, to create the "Someone Saved My Life Tonight" necklace, inspired by and named after my all-time favorite Elton John song. The intensely personal lyrics refer to a moment of realization and ultimately saving yourself from making a bad life choice.

The 1-1/2 inch (4cm) wide butterfly, stamped with the simple sentiment "FLY," is created with a self-hanging piece on the back, through which the three 17-1/2 inch strands of gleaming, sparkling glass beads and freshwater pearls pass. The beads terminate in sterling silver cones and a beautiful sterling silver toggle clasp with a butterfly motif completes this one-of-a-kind, delicate necklace.
