Handmade Stoneware Mod Pod Bobby PIns
Description
A pair of cool double pod handmade cabs embellish this set of silver plated bobby pins.To make these bobbies, I began with a thin slab of white stoneware to form the pods. Since each is made individually there may be very slight variations in size. The pods are colored up with blue and green crackled glazes.
I've finished the cabs meticulously, smoothing and glazing with care. Each pod cab measures approximately 5/8" (1.7cm) in diameter. They've been cemented to 2 1/2" (6.4cm) silver-plated bobby pins. Each bobby pin weighs just 1/8th of an ounce (3 grams), so is not at all heavy.
