I could tell you just almost exactly when this pattern was published from looking at the wild and wacky fabrics! Weren't the 70's an awesome time? So much freedom and creativity running wild...although I'll admit I'm not sorry to see the end of some of the fashions!But enough of that. With this pattern, Simplicity 8779, you can make a whale, pelican, turtle, or goose, with all the funk and playfulness of the 70's fully present.
