Quartz Crystal is the Universal Stone, used for accessing past & future life information and clearing soul level blocks so that positive change can take place.
Crystals represent the Universe and everything in it. They also represent the "whole" person, including consciousness, mobility, non-attachment, self-containment and a powerful mind. Tied to our spiritual nature, these spheres allow purity, clear mind and flexibility to emerge. Quartz Crystal healing is said to be a profound integrative therapy that can be used in conjunction with many other forms of health care.

Sometimes known as crystal or rock crystal, quartz is one of the most plentiful as well as one of the most beautiful and versatile minerals in a metaphysical sense, and this small (about 1 1/4" diameter) is a good example.

Aside from its obvious uses, I can see this piece in a basket or cage of chains, maybe beaded or in a chainmaille design, or even macrame, used as a pendant or focal for a necklace.

It is not totally clear--yes, you can see through it, but it has some minor inclusions and an interior fracture which sometimes, when the light hits it just right, makes rainbows. You can see all of this in the pics--what's not there, however, is a red spot in the ball--that's just a reflection of my sweater! The ball comes with a wooden stand.
