Description

Castile soaps have been around for centuries, and were highly prized in medieval and renaissance times. Many historic records show that this soap originated in the medieval Kingdom of Castile, which eventually became part of Spain. This luxury item was exported all over Europe to those who could afford it.
Traditional Castile soap uses olive oil as the only soaping oil. True castile soaps are mild and gentle, and as such, they are perfect as a facial soap. The lather is low and creamy - almost slippery. You will get more lather out of it by using a washcloth, than just by flipping it in your hands.

Castile soaps are known as the Queen of Soaps. As royal crowns are hard to come by, you might need a few these to prove your sovereignty.

They are wrapped in recyclable eco-friendly paper {made from a combination of post consumer recycled paper, and tree free agricultural by-products} which is then sealed with a reusable wax stamp.

This soap is hand cut and weighs approx. 5 ½ to 6 ½ oz.
Keeping in mind that they are hand cut and slight differences are to be expected, the bars are approximately 2 1/4 inches wide, 3 1/2 inches long, and 1 1/2 inches deep.

Ingredients: Olive oil, Water, Sodium Hydroxide, Sugar, Wild Silk Fiber (Unscented)
