From a San Francisco estate is this charming layered atomic rhinestone starburst brooch. Circa late 1940s or 1950s.

This brooch is highly three dimensional with a layer of filigree silver tone metal with two layers of prong set faceted rhinestones forming the atomic starburst as pictured. Accented with a center prong set faceted rhinestone.

Measurements ~ 1-1/2" In Diameter

Designer ~ the piece is unsigned but of high quality.

Fastens with a well working c clasp with a safety feature.

Condition ~ Excellent with no issues. The rhinestones are secure with no darkening, scratches, chips or other issues. The silver tone metal is in excellent condition with no issues.

The back fastener is securely fastened and original to the piece.

I have a 2" diameter brooch from the same estate that is very similar to this one listed separately.

This is a beautiful piece and a wonderful addition to any collection of vintage atomic jewelry. Would be a very special gift for a close friend or loved one.
