Dancing Dragonflies Quilt

Description

Even in the gloomy room lighted only by the snowy skies through the window, the room seemed bright with the dancing dragonfly quilt on the wall. The bright batik fabrics made Samantha smile as she thought about her trip to the ponds where all the different colored dragonflies danced over the water. The feeling of the warm sun filled her and she could almost feel the soft grass under her feet again.

41 1/2" x 33 1/2" (105.4cm x 85.1cm) This quilt features original design paper pieced dragonflies ©. It is bordered with batik squares. More batik squares brighten up the solid Kona black back. Quilted in a fun looping pattern with each dragonfly individually quilted around. This was part of the Quiltsy team batik square swap challenge.

Filled with easy wash cotton batting. Wash in cold water, air dry.

Like this pattern, want your own colors or a different size. Just ask. No quilt can ever be exactly duplicated but I can make a similar one just for you.
