This one took every second of patience I could muster, but my goal was to create a piece that was versatile enough to go with brown or black. I think I did it. I do not want to even think about how often the stones were strung and restrung and restrung and restrung. Well you get the idea. While the stringing is occurring, the tongue is being held just right. If you know me, then you know the unbalanced nature of anything goes completely against the German stubbornness in me . . . AND it hurts.

The off-center turquoise clusters form the focus of the piece. Black agate and onyx stones is varying shapes and sizes flank the turquoise and proceed halfway up the necklace. The black sections then bleed into the final sections of smoky topaz at the closure. The smoky quartz rondelles at the closure are spaced with turquoise rondelles. It's truly a study in form, color, and texture.

Closure: Bali sterling silver toggle
Spacers: Thai fine silver ribbed bicones

All components have a silver content of 92.5% to 99%. Thai Karen Hill Tribe silver is the highest quality available and classified as fine silver at 99% silver content. The higher silver content slows the tarnishing process, which is a great benefit. This piece of art will last a lifetime and hopefully give you much joy.
