VOLTURI Twilight handspun Superwash Merino Black Red Sparkles 102yds

Description

This beautiful yarn is 96% superwash merino wool, very soft! It has been handdyed by me black and red and spun on a drop spindle. I included about 2% of handdyed red angelina sparkles and some multi-colored cotswold locks (2%) which I spun here and there throughout the skein.

I've called this one Volturi after the "royal" vampires from Twilight, because the black reminded me of their cloaks and the red of their eyes.

Care: Even though Superwash is supposed to be machine wash and dry-able, I recommend handwash in tepid water and lay flat to dry. A squirt of hair conditioner in the rinse will make your sweater very soft!! (After all, wool is sheep hair!)
