Vegan Convertible Fingerless Gloves Mittens with Thumb Flaps in Green Camo , Size 7.25 to 8

Here's a wonderful pair of convertible mitts for the person who can't or chooses not to wear animal fibers. I have been researching plant fibers but have found they are all for warmer weather items. Therefore, at this time the warmest choice of non-animal fiber is synthetic.

These Vegan friendly mitts are in a colorway called "Green Camo Ombre". It's shades of green and brown. The yarn is slightly bulkier than what I usually use.

These are crocheted using a tight thermo stitch so are fairly dense, with ample flap overlap to keep in the warmth.

The idea for thumb flaps was given to me by a customer after trying to use a pen while wearing her new convertible gloves.

With a flick of your finger you can open the thumb flap and use a pen without removing your gloves. Or pop both thumb flaps and you can type on your computer or text away on your cell!!

This pair measures about 9"(22.8cm) in circumference and 8"(20.3cm) from wrist to tip of mitt without any stretching. After compensating for the density of the yarn these mitts will fit a hand about 7.25" to 8"(18.4cm-20.3cm) in size with room to spare. I'd state a larger size range but the cuffs turned out a bit narrower than expected. If you like loose mitts these may be just what you've been looking for. The cuffs are 3.5"(8.9cm) long.

Modeled on my 7.5" hand you can see they are slightly loose on me.

To find out your glove size measure from the base of your palm to the tip of your middle finger. Also measure around your palm at the knuckles. The measurements are usually the same, but if not, go by the larger number or check the measurements I've listed. If you have any question about how these gloves will fit your hand just send me your measurements.

There is a loop and button to keep the flap back on each glove when going fingerless. I try hard to find just the right buttons to accent each pair of gloves.

Made of an easy care acrylic yarn they are machine wash and dryable. I have prewashed them so there'll be no surprise shrinkage.
