Star Light Star Bright Batik Quilt

Description

This wonderful batik quilt is filled with bright glowing stars that just shine and shine and shine on! We purchased this beautiful unfinished quilt from the Etsy seller mickeybquilts who makes fabulous quilt tops. We picked out the backing, put it together with the batting and quilt top, and then did the quilting and sewed on the binding to bring it to life. There are a total of 63 intricate blocks composed from a beautiful rainbow of quality batiks which come together for one smashing modern quilt! The quilting is fun, too, vines of leaves run down the borders, and the center has a traditional meander which creates an interesting contrast and texture visually.
